What is the difference between certainty and confidence? This lesson teaches the value of moving from certainty to confidence through a dynamic role play activity and a group discussion of a predictive video clip from the 1960’s. As students develop an understanding of the language and thinking behind certainty, confidence, and intellectual humility, they will analyze how each affects productive dialogue and discover the value of allowing other voices into the conversation.
