Ground Rules: Questions for Discussion

  • Grades 6-12 | Teaching Resource

Overview

The Mill Institute’s Ground Rules: Questions for Discussion are a resource for helping classrooms adopt ground rules for classroom discussions. The discussion questions offered with each Ground Rule prompt students to monitor their thinking while developing interactive behaviors that promote intellectual curiosity and open dialogue in the classroom. This resource teaches students how to share their thoughts while considering other viewpoints in a sincere and productive way.
